«Jinn» – the robot with potential

«Jinn» is taller, stronger, more complex than other humanoids. He is available for schools, universities, institutions (care areas, child cares, etc.) and private customers. «Jinn» can interact in reality, thanks to the high-end hardware. «Jinn» will be  delivered with additional hardware and software. Jinn has telepresence system, so called gloves. It’s a combination of Speech synthesis, commands to the legs and two telepresence gloves to controll upper body.

What is the great benefit of «Jinn»?

«Java Programming» has never been easier to use robotics and control sensors. 

This is very good for future products in research and development, as Personal Assistant (Elderly Care, Children’s Hospital) or in animation, presentation, custom robot. Due to the 3D printing production itself there are new options –  there are no limits to imagination. 

What can «Jinn» do?

«Jinn» can hear and speak, he can orient visually (integration OpenCV).  He will get a personality and different day moods. 

Remote control of «Jinn» over the internet (WebCam-monitoring, physical functions).

Standard, 24 channels for servos: 

«Jinn» is mobile and can avoid obstacles autonomously. This 

functionality is fully customizable by the owner. A not supplied Windows computer with a USB port is required.  The  free installed Windows app allows via sliders to define servo positions and to program all the new processes. No special computer skills are required. 

The control software can also be used for further expansions stages. 

Stage JA, this is charged and inspire «tinkers» Support of Bluetooth-enabled game pads and additional use of a  Android phones for more complex and customized applications with their own Robotic personality. 

The customer’s own Android phone from version 4.1.2 is necessary to use higher functions. With the customer’s existing compatible gamepad, movements can be controlled individually – the key bindings in the game pad can also be adapted. 

The charged «Jinn»-app can be downloaded in play store from Google and controls the „Pololu“ card respectively the networked servos and sensors. 

The higher functions are contain: Voice control, complex motion sequences, user-defined actions such as phone calls, reading out messages, play music, etc.

«Jinn» is even more flexible thanks to program extensions!

Software development stage JB, «Remote Control» 

With an additional smart phone can manage remotely  the functions of «Jinn». The operation and monitoring is possible at distances of 30m over WiFi. There are no boundaries set in apartments.

The control over the Internet and the built-in webcam let «Jinn» mutate to a surveillance-robot.  The microphone and motion-detector allow additional possibilities.

«Jinn» remembers all movements and can retrieve and execute them at any time.
